Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Monday - Friday, 10-hour shifts | Saturday, 5-hour shift Job Description We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join a growing team working on large-scale commercial and industrial projects throughout Minnesota(current project is in Mankato MN) and surrounding areas. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in manufacturing facilities, warehouses, data centers, industrial plants, and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with conduit systems, switchgear, motor control centers, electrical distribution systems, and industrial power installations. Candidates should be able to work independently, read and interpret electrical drawings, and maintain the highest levels of safety and workmanship on active jobsites. Responsibilities Install electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities according to blueprints, specifications, and electrical codes. Run and bend EMT, RMC, IMC, and PVC conduit. Install cable trays, wireways, rigid conduit, and underground electrical systems. Pull wire and terminate power, control, and instrumentation wiring. Install switchgear, transformers, motor control centers (MCCs), disconnects, panels, and lighting systems. Read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and one-line diagrams. Perform equipment hookups and assist with startup and commissioning activities. Troubleshoot electrical systems and implement effective solutions. Ensure all installations meet Minnesota electrical code requirements and NEC standards. Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to maintain project schedules. Maintain documentation of completed work, inspections, and design changes. Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times. Required Qualifications Current Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License. Minimum of 1 year of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred. Experience installing electrical systems in industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, commercial, or data center environments. Proficiency bending and installing EMT, RMC, IMC, and PVC conduit. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and one-line diagrams. Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Minnesota electrical codes. Experience installing and terminating power, control, and instrumentation wiring. Experience installing switchgear, transformers, MCCs, disconnects, panels, and lighting systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work from ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and elevated platforms. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying jobsite conditions. Preferred Qualifications Experience on large-scale industrial or commercial construction projects. Experience with manufacturing facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, or data centers. Familiarity with cable tray, wireway, rigid conduit, and underground installations. Strong conduit bending skills for complex installations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and documentation skills. Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends.
