Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or during renovation projects, utilizing appropriate power tools and hand tools. Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and testers; develop effective solutions promptly. Maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures while working on low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless project execution. Document work performed through detailed reports, including inspection findings, repair procedures, and compliance verifications. Header Skills Extensive experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems. Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading to accurately implement wiring layouts. Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards for safe electrical installations and maintenance practices. Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Experience working with high-voltage electrical wiring safely on construction sites or during renovation projects. Familiarity with low voltage systems and the ability to perform detailed schematic reading for precise installations. Strong understanding of local electrical codes combined with practical experience in construction environments. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and frame carpentry equipment efficiently while maintaining safety protocols. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents during installation or repair work. Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems including troubleshooting industrial equipment failures.
