Job Description Generator Service Technician:

What You'll Do:
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on residential standby generators Assist with generator installations, startups, and system testing Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently Diagnose electrical, fuel, and mechanical issues on generator systems Maintain communication with dispatch, management, and support teams Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked Complete service tickets, paperwork, and documentation accurately Maintain a professional appearance and deliver excellent customer service Participate in ongoing technical and safety training Obtain and maintain certifications for Generac, Briggs & Stratton, and other generator manufacturers (company assistance provided)
What We're Looking For:
Experience servicing, troubleshooting, or installing residential generators Minimum 2 years of generator, electrical, HVAC, or related field service experience preferred Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Journeyman Electrician License preferred but not required Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service skills Willingness to learn and grow through continued training English-Spanish bilingual preferred
