Job Description
ES AMER ARS
division is currently seeking a Skilled Electrician to join our team Fibrebond team in Minden, LA! You will work an average of 54 hours per week (including OT) between 6 am- 4:30 pm. There is overtime every other Saturday from 6 am
- 2:30 pm. The hourly range for this position is $20.90

- Install both standard and more complex conduit and electrical components.
- Read blueprints to determine consistent placement of all components
- Lead crews.
- Pull wire and/or cable for smaller gauge electrical circuits, low voltage alarms and signals, high-power large-gauge circuits through conduit and wireway.
- Anchor and secure all equipment.
- Ensure proper grounding.
- Properly buss and torque gear.
- Trouble shoot electrical problems.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic)Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years electrical experience
- Experience bending conduit.
- Experience reading blueprints and using hand and power tools.

- Journeyman-like experience.
- NEC knowledge and experience.

Skills:
- Basic shop math skills and the ability to read and use a tape measure.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
- Must possess a strong, verifiable track record of attendance and punctuality
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of trade secrets.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to wear PPE such as protective eyewear, hearing protection, and steel toes boots with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs., work from a ladder including ascending and descending, stand for long periods of time, bend, crouch, use manual dexterity to grasp and manipulate objects with precise small movements with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
