An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. Minimum Qualifications Two years of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience: Three years of experience or training in the electrical trade. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Assists the Electricians Specialist Leader in day-to-day operations, installation, maintenance, and repair of all electric motors, pumps, and electrical systems. Monitors, analyzes, and repairs Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) computer and emergency paging system Assist in the research and development of instrumentation and electrical product research, integration solutions and increasing reliability and efficiency
