Job Description
Journeyman Electrician Valiant Integrated Services United States, Massachusetts, Natick Sep 01, 2026 Valiant Integrated Services is looking for a Full-Time Journeyman Electrician that is well versed in the electrical, plumbing, HVAC fields and general maintenance to join our team at our Natick, MA facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Installing:
Electrical systems, equipment, wiring, devices, lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, and controls
Maintaining:
Electrical systems, including fire alarm systems
Repairing:
Electrical systems, including wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Troubleshooting:
Electrical problems using blueprints, schematics, and testing devices
Inspecting:
Electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
Directing:
Workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment
Supervising:
Installation teams and providing reports to project managers
Ensuring:
Compliance with the Massachusetts Electrical Code
Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems. This may include installing or repairing sprinkler systems for fire protection, sewer lines, or septic tanks.
Conduct routine maintenance and installation of plumbing equipment, including preventative maintenance orders.
Diagnose and repair problems, including component installation and replacement.
Perform service on plumbing fixtures.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and bath installers.
Monitor and control the performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC) in buildings.
They monitor indoor environmental factors such as humidity and temperature, and control heating and cooling to achieve and maintain desired levels.
Other duties as assigned.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Journeyman or Certificate in either Electrical, Plumbing, or
HVAC. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with carpentry, plumbing and other general maintenance.
Available to work: 6:30AM - 3PM (based on facility needs)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, crawling under/over utilities and in compromised spaces, ascending and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, lift equipment, and roofs in heat/cold/day/night conditions.
