Flexcon is seeking an electrician to perform routine electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, contributing to the efficiency and productivity of our operations. What will you do in this role?

• Must remain in compliance with National Electrical Code and 70E.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment, ensuring they operate at peak performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and disruptions to production.
• Conduct electrical repairs and replacements of components, circuits, and wiring, following safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to install, wire, and commission new electrical equipment and machinery.
• Maintain thorough records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs performed, supporting data-driven maintenance strategies.
• Work closely with fellow technicians and engineering teams to achieve operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all preventative maintenance procedures
• Must follow all LOTO procedures
• Could be required to come in for a plant emergency or for snow removal
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools, contributing to a safe and efficient workspace.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required What does it take to be successful in this role?

High school diploma/GED or accreditation from a technical school or applicable trades program. Electrical license required 2-4 Years of relevant experience Experience with AC/DC drives Advanced computer proficiency Ability to operate lift equipment Ability to use hand and power tools Ability to use a multi-meter Able to read, write, and follow standard operating procedures Ability to read drawings, OEM manuals, and schematics to complete assignments.
