In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovation and maintenance of complex electrical systems. Pat scales based on experience and ability to completed tasks outlined below. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial and industrial environments. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults or issues within electrical systems. Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes for safety and compliance. Work with high-voltage electrical wiring and systems, including industrial electrical systems and low-voltage applications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installations or repairs efficiently. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems using advanced diagnostic techniques including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation devices. Follow strict electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during all phases of work. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects or new builds to coordinate electrical system integration. Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance purposes. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial electrical systems. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures. Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring, low-voltage systems, and industrial electrical infrastructure. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and PLC programming interfaces. Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical issues within diverse systems using logical problem-solving techniques. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving frame carpentry or handyman skills is a plus. Familiarity with high-voltage safety protocols and experience working with power tools and hand tools safely.
