Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in both residential and industrial settings. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and the National Electrical Code (NEC). Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects on construction sites and other facilities. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures. Utilize power tools, hand tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to perform electrical tasks effectively. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions. Qualifications Proven experience as an Residential Electrician or in a similar role; industrial electrician experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid electrician's license or certification is a plus. $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
