Hydro Operator/Electrical Tech

Job Description Job Responsibilities Daily operation of hydroelectric projects Working with a team of operators across multiple projects Ensure cleanliness of each project Ensure compliance with all operating procedures and regulatory requirements Performing mechanical maintenance and repair Performing electrical maintenance and troubleshooting On-call responsibilities will be part of this position Job Requirements Must live within 30 minutes of Projects. The work will require climbing ladders, working around rotating equipment, monitoring automated equipment, adding oil to hydraulic systems and operation of chainsaws safely. Work environment includes both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.. Job requires ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative Experience with industrial electrical systems preferred. A willingness to learn it is a must. Experience with repair and maintenance of hydro turbine/generator systems and related mechanical, hydraulic equipment is also preferred but will train the right candidate Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings and schematics Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word Must have a clean driving record

From $28.00 per hour
