Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including industrial, commercial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial and commercial environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations. Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise electrical work on construction sites or existing facilities. Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters to diagnose issues effectively. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations. Collaborate with construction teams and frame carpenters to coordinate electrical installations within building frameworks. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections conducted. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems. Hands-on experience with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in construction or maintenance settings. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical layouts. Familiarity with NEC standards, schematics interpretation, and safety protocols on construction sites. Ability to operate various electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters accurately. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools necessary for electrical work. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus. Strong understanding of electrical codes related to low voltage and high voltage systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
