Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Electrician to join our team in Portland, Maine. The ideal candidate will oversee electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Maine state regulations. This role requires both hands-on electrical work. time-management, trouble-shooting, and leadership skills. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Ensure all work is performed in accordance with NEC standards and safety regulations. Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards. Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and clients to meet project timelines and budgets. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed. Manage renovation projects that require high voltage and low voltage installations. Experience Proven experience as an electrician, with a focus on both residential and commercial projects. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Strong understanding of NEC regulations and safety protocols related to electrical work. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to electrical installations. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
