Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Industrial Electrician to oversee complex electrical installations and system upgrades across various nationwide project sites. You will serve as a technical authority, guiding teams through intricate power distribution projects while ensuring every installation meets rigorous safety standards and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead the execution of large-scale electrical projects, including system modifications, relocations, and new installations. Direct and mentor journeyman and apprentice teams to ensure project milestones are met with high-quality workmanship. Manage site-specific material requirements and coordinate with procurement to maintain efficient project workflows. Perform critical safety procedures, including Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO), to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel. Execute precise conduit installation, including bending, threading, and mounting of complex cable tray and support systems. Oversee the installation and termination of power distribution equipment, control wiring, and industrial panels. Verify system integrity through advanced troubleshooting, testing, and accurate labeling of electrical components. Qualifications Required Skills Current Master Electrician license and completion of an accredited electrical trade program. Extensive background in industrial electrical systems, including three-phase power and complex wiring methods. Proven ability to interpret detailed electrical schematics and technical manuals for large-scale projects. Proficiency with heavy-duty electrical tools, including hydraulic pipe benders, wire tuggers, and precision multimeters. Ability to travel nationwide full-time and maintain a reliable vehicle for job site mobility. Preferred Skills Significant experience (10+ years) specifically within industrial manufacturing or heavy infrastructure environments. Certification or documented experience operating aerial lifts, forklifts, and other powered industrial equipment. Strong leadership capabilities with a history of managing project teams and verifying apprentice hours. Advanced problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of National Electrical Codes and best practices.
