Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have commercial experience and a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in residential, commercial and industrial environments. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and fixtures in commercial buildings. Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation. Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to complete projects on time and within scope. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety procedures at all times. Document work performed and report progress or issues to supervisors regularly. Experience Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification. Commercial electrical experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with the unique requirements of commercial projects. Proven ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in the industry. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

From $35.00 per hour
