Job Description
Albar Industries is A Mid Michigan area Tier I / II supplier in the automotive industry providing services related to interior and exterior automotive parts. We are currently seeking an experienced manufacturing maintenance technician who is capable of hands on troubleshooting and repair of conveyor lines, paint bake ovens, power wash equipment, and other general building maintenance tasks. Qualified individuals must be able to: Return equipment back to operation quickly. Insure that all equipment is installed and maintained in a safe and operational condition at all times. Install equipment to minimize downtime and the learning curve and for immediate efficiency. Fabricate metal parts and equipment for facility improvement. Inspect equipment for proper operation. Assemble, install and repair conveyors. Operate a fork truck. Troubleshoot, repair and perform general maintenance on fork trucks. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical controls. Requirements We are a 24 hour manufacturing facility. Qualified applicants must be able and willing to work any shift. Applicants must have some experience in troubleshooting machinery. Preferred Candidates should have previous knowledge and/or experience with Industrial Electrical troubleshooting and repair. Certification/license is not required. 3-phase electrical experience is highly preferred.
