Job Description

We are seeking a maintenance electrician to work on our night shift. Hours can be flexible in regards to start/end time.
POSITION SUMMARY
Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structure, pipe and electrical systems, following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings, using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and measuring and testing instruments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Visually inspects and tests machinery or equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment. Listens for unusual sounds from machinery or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with managers to diagnose problem or repair equipment. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand or power tools. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and or replaces gages, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure. Installs new equipment and machinery to blueprints and other specifications. Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment using programmable controllers. Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Fabricates and repairs benches, partitions or other wooden structures. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment throughout manufacturing facility, utilizes PM software for updating data
