Overtime as required/requested.
Manufacturing environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, machine/equipment noise, some welding exhaust, non-controlled temperatures, and PPE required.
Some travel which could include an overnight stay.
Ability to move about the plant in both the office and manufacturing areas.
Ability to travel occasionally.
Manual dexterity for computer work.
Ability to communicate in an effective manner.

POSITION SUMMARY
Position is responsible for purchasing and evaluating repair parts along with maintaining close relationships with vendors to continuously improve and lower company costs. This position also requires a large concentration of time performing research and development for the department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PM System in SAP - oversee inputting of machinery, creation of PM schedules, etc.Research and Development of parts and equipmentMaintain maintenance cribWork closely with vendors to purchase best quality parts at the best priceMaintain keys and security recordsFile and maintain Maintenance PM records.

High school diploma or GEDPreferred 2-year technical degreeMinimum of 5 years maintenance experienceKnowledge and understanding of OSHA guidelinesMust be able to troubleshoot machineryMust have proficient blueprint reading skillsMust be able to read electrical schematicsMust be able to read hydraulic printsWORK ENVIRONMENT
Office environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, computers, telephones, desks, temperature controlled.Manufacturing environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, machine/equipment noise, some welding exhaust, non-controlled temperatures, and PPE required.
