An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Support field electrical maintenance work and electrical isolation (Lock out Tag out: Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)) for lighting, air condition and motor maintenance. Plan and execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize impact on production, and maximize operational availability. Typically reports to a supervisor.TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, a Level 3:- Work with vendors and sub-contractors as required
- Comply with requirements of MOC for Plant Modifications
- Apply skills and knowledge in a practical and efficient manner and continually look for opportunities for improvement, cost saving and simplification
- Comply with and promote high SSHE standards and demonstrate responsibility for the safety of self and others minimizing impact on production, and maximizing operational availability
- Employ Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe acts
- Actively participate in a responsible waste management system
- Attend and participate in the Operations morning shift meeting
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electirican License Required Powerline/POwerline Build Expeirence preferred
- Previous experience in a closely related position, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Discipline appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experience
- Effective communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps
- Team Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
