Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician, where your expertise will power essential industrial and commercial electrical systems across diverse construction and renovation projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-voltage wiring, industrial electrical systems, and complex schematics, ensuring safe and efficient electrical installations and troubleshooting. As a key contributor, you will uphold strict adherence to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and local electrical codes, delivering top-tier electrical solutions with precision and professionalism. Your skills will directly impact the safety, reliability, and performance of our clients' electrical infrastructure. Duties Install, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local regulations. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring layouts. Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot issues related to high voltage, low voltage, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to all electrical safety procedures. Conduct inspections of electrical systems on construction sites or renovation projects to ensure compliance with NFPA 70 and other safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring, conduit bending, framing carpentry, and schematic installation efficiently. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless project progression. Qualifications Valid Oklahoma Journeyman electrician license with current certification. Proven experience in industrial electrician work, including industrial electrical systems and high-voltage wiring. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, local electrical codes, and safety procedures. Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints related to commercial or industrial projects. Experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Ability to work confidently on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on safety and quality. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, low voltage wiring, and high voltage applications is highly desirable.
