- What You Can Expect
- The Operator role is an individual contributor position responsible for executing the manufacturing and assembly builds of disposable products for the Monteris business unit within Zimmer Biomet. This role directly interacts and works together with other operators and team members in our Minnetonka, MN site.
- How You'll Create Impact
- + Assembles product within quality guidelines and according to standardized work procedures inside of a Controlled Environment Area (CEA) to fulfill production work plan on time + Communicate clearly with supervisors, managers, and team members regarding issues, ideas, and solutions.
Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment at all times.
+ Responsible for producing high quality medical devices within a manufacturing environment and packaging of medical devices
+ Must adhere to all company policies and procedures
+ Support and/or perform other duties as required
- What Makes You Stand Out
- + Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts + Ability to effectively execute work orders according to instructions, policies, and procedures + Basic understanding of quality systems.
+ Strong communication skills in order to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ Must be results-orientated and have sense of urgency in order to drive and meet production deadlines
+ Must work well in a multi-disciplined and fast-paced environment
+ Extremely comfortable with accountability
- Your Background
- + High School Diploma or GED required, 2-year technical degree preferred.
+ 1-3 years of experience in within the medical device industry in a manufacturing role
+ Experience working in cleanroom manufacturing environments
+ Preferred understanding of Lean Six-Sigma Techniques
+ Basic Computer skills and ability to use online Quality system
+ Team player with positive attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
