Journeyman Electrician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, Service calls, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards. This job may require being in attics, and crawl spaces. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues. Renovate existing electrical systems to improve efficiency or accommodate new equipment. Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction or renovation projects as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and safety equipment used in electrical work. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Certification or licensure as required by local regulations.
