JOB TITLE
Electrician
JOB SUMMARY
The Electrician will be responsible for multiple job duties in the areas of general electricial maintance. This employee will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electricial control, wiring and lighting systems in both residential homes and commericial facilities. This employee will also troubleshoot electricial issues using appropriate testing devises as well as inspecting transformers and circuit breakers.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring in both residential homes and commercial facilities.
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
  • Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
  • Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts that are needed for each job site.
  • Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
  • Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and discipline in engaging in the daily activities.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build and retain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to meet and work within strict deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.
  • Ability to listen and interpret the needs of the customer.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Knowledge of electrical business and products.
Education Requires a high school diploma. Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred. Related Work Experience Number of Years Electrical experience 1+ WORKING
