Job Title:
Facilities Maintenance Electrician Job Description As a Facilities Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment, parts, and control panels. This role requires extensive knowledge of electrical components and adherence to electrical safety codes and regulations. You must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient, capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as crawling, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment. Work independently or as a team member to complete projects. Observe safety procedures and comply with electrical codes. Make informed decisions based on technical documents. Perform quality testing and inspections on electrical equipment. Assist with other tasks as needed, such as draining, cleaning, and filling water tanks, running wire to new machines, and setting up warehouse racking. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in an industrial or facilities electrician role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and climbing. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Motivated self-starter with project management and decision-making abilities. Ability to determine load and load limits on electrical service. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holly Springs, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
