An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

In this field-based role, you'll assist with the installation of residential and commercial solar PV and energy storage systems while working alongside experienced professionals to deliver safe, high-quality installations that meet company standards and electrical codes. Whether you're experienced in solar or looking to grow your electrical career, Renu provides classroom and hands-on field training during your first 30 days. All tools and required safety equipment are provided, and some local travel between job sites is required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
System Installation:
Assist with the installation of solar PV and energy storage systems from start to finish.
Electrical Work:
Install system components while following electrical diagrams, specifications, and project requirements
Quality & Safety:
Perform work in accordance with company standards, electrical codes, and safety requirements.
Team Support:
Assist the Electrical Team Lead and crew members to ensure efficient project completion.
Equipment Management:
Maintain work vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory.
Field Service:
Assist with electrical upgrades, rooftop work, and other field installation activities.
Continuous Improvement:
Complete training and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Requirements:
Required / Minimum High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work safely on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills General knowledge of electrical work, construction, and OSHA safety practices Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Preferred / Helpful 1+ year of electrical experience 1+ year of solar electrical experience Experience with residential or commercial electrical installations Interest in building a career in the renewable energy industry
