Job Description
About the Role As an Industrial Systems Technician, you will serve as a vital contributor to the reliability and peak performance of advanced automation and material handling infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in electrical and mechanical diagnostics to minimize downtime, optimize system throughput, and ensure the seamless operation of complex distribution technologies. Responsibilities Execute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and reliability of critical facility equipment. Resolve complex electrical and mechanical failures in conveyors, motors, and automated distribution systems to restore operational capacity. Implement precise installations and repairs on packaging machinery to drive production efficiency. Diagnose root causes of equipment malfunctions using advanced troubleshooting techniques to prevent recurring issues. Document all maintenance interventions and system improvements to maintain accurate operational logs. Foster a culture of safety by strictly adhering to industrial protocols and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical field. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Strong working knowledge of 120/208/480 voltage systems and industrial electrical components. Competency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital record-keeping systems. Hands-on experience with hand tools and heavy equipment diagnostics. Preferred Skills Technical certification in mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or electrical systems. Direct experience working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), servo motors, and pneumatics. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex conveyor and material handling systems.
