Job Summary Goldstein Electrical Services is seeking a dependable, experienced Lead Electrical Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for an electrician who is confident in both residential and commercial electrical work, can lead a crew in the field, and takes pride in doing quality work the right way. The Lead Technician is responsible for completing electrical projects safely, efficiently, and professionally while ensuring work meets NEC requirements, applicable codes, and Goldstein Electrical Services' company standards. We are looking for someone who leads by example—someone who can work alongside the crew, delegate responsibilities, solve problems in the field, communicate professionally, and keep projects moving forward without sacrificing safety or quality. Responsibilities Perform and oversee electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and service work. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and electrical diagrams. Diagnose electrical problems and determine safe, effective solutions. Complete residential and commercial electrical work in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Ensure installations are neat, functional, properly labeled, and completed to company standards. Inspect completed work to identify and correct deficiencies before the project is considered complete. Qualifications Proven experience as a licensed or experienced electrician. Significant residential and commercial electrical experience. Previous experience leading a crew or serving as a lead technician is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Ability to read electrical plans, blueprints, and diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to safely operate common electrical tools and equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions in the field. Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing. Physical ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and working in various job-site conditions.
