Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and voltmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards or malfunctions Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure proper installation of electrical components Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while working with high voltage systems Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients regarding their electrical needs Skills Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics Strong knowledge of NEC standards and electrical safety practices Experience working on construction sites with a focus on electrical installations Ability to use hand tools and testing equipment effectively Familiarity with high voltage systems and their maintenance requirements Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
