Electrician Helper - Commercial

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper to join our team in the commercial construction sector. Personal tools a must. In this role, you will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on various commercial projects. Responsibilities Assist electricians with installing wiring, conduit, and electrical panels according to blueprints and schematics Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support electrical installations on construction sites Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to aid in accurate wiring and system setup Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify issues Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards Qualifications Prior experience working as an electrician helper or apprentice in industrial or commercial settings is highly preferred Demonstrated experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters Knowledge of NEC standards, schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems on construction sites Ability to read technical schematics and interpret construction plans accurately Experience with construction site safety procedures and protocols is essential Basic understanding of frame carpentry or related construction skills is a plus Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions diligently and work effectively as part of a team Join us in building reliable electrical systems that power commercial spaces!
