Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated manufacturing equipment. This role is heavily focused on industrial electrical systems, Allen-Bradley PLCs, motor controls, and automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills and experience maintaining high-speed production machinery in a manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on production equipment. Troubleshoots and repairs electrical controls including PLCs, 3 phrase and single-phase circuits, relays, switches, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment Diagnosing and resolving issues involving Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks. Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams. Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability. Assists with installation and modification of mechanical and electrical systems Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and communicate daily work performed and machine conditions via verbal or computer documentation Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve machine performance and reduce downtime. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED; technical degree or industrial maintenance certification preferred. 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with electrical components, sensors, AC/DC drives and motors, and servo drives and motors Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems (24VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC three-phase). Experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control circuits. Extensive electrical knowledge ranging from 110 to 480 volts of power (3 Phase) Ability to work independently while responding quickly to equipment failures.
