Job Summary We are seeking a plus 5 year journeyman/mechanic electrician to join our team in our South Jersey region. We are a multi-craft contractor that works in a different locations, daily performing service and installation 24/7. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, automation, controls, low voltage, data-comm, fire/burg/CCTV across various commercial, industrial and residential settings. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools. Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on industrial sites while adhering to all safety procedures. Maintain compliance with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 standards, and NEC regulations during all work activities. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and industrial electrical infrastructure. Follow strict electrical safety procedures to prevent hazards and ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Often working without supervision. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics tools. Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards along with local electrical codes and NEC regulations. Experience working on low/medium/high-voltage wiring in industrial settings; familiarity with industrial electrical systems is essential. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently using diagnostic techniques. Strong understanding of low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical blueprint reading. Skilled in the use of hand tools. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs. Valid drivers licenses with clean driving abstract.
