An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

goac is working with an industry-leading manufacturer seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Electricia n | 3rd Shift | $35-$40/hour + Bonus + Full Benefits | Perth Amboy area of New Jersey. This is a high-impact role within a stable company known for strong leadership, long-term growth, and a collaborative team environment. Schedule - Monday through Friday | 10:30pm to 6:30am
What You'll Do:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and VFDs
  • Perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency repairs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Maintain and improve control systems and plant equipment
  • Install and modify electrical components and wiring
  • Support continuous improvement and uptime across the facility
What We're Looking For:
  • 3-5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and controls is a plus
