An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

We are looking for an Electrician to join our team to be responsible for installing automatic backup generators. The right candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems required for standby generators. What you'll do Install conduits, wiring, electrical panels and circuits - includes but is not limited to installing underground wiring in trenches Start up and test installed generator, assist with deliver and set-up of generators Troubleshoot electrical problems and repairs Communicate with customers regarding the install of the generator and/or transfer switch, as well as warranty information Adhere to all quality and safety codes Local travel will be required Frequently required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls, and talk or hear What you'll bring 4+ years of experience as an electrician Journeyman license preferred but not required
