Responsibilities:
Complete the installation of all electrical equipment - replacement, new and upgrades as required. Complete the preventive maintenance and servicing of all assigned electrical equipment. Prioritize work/training assignments as required. Troubleshoot and repair power distribution systems, phased and DC electric motors, electrical power generation equipment Troubleshoot electrical switch-gear equipment Test and troubleshoot: Electrical lighting systems, AC variable speed drives, Un-interruptible Power Supply systems Understand and promote current arc-flash requirements. Practical safeguarding of all personnel and property from hazards arising from the use of electricity.
Requirements:
5+ years experience as a journeyman electrician in an industrial setting Proficiency with Servo systems, CNC's and PLC's and other industrial controls Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, logic diagrams Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic components and industrial components Proficiency with industrial wiring, installation of conduit, starters, motors (single and multiphase) Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and OSHA regulations Knowledge of feeders, power circuits, limit switches, proximity switches, pressure switches, flow switches, pushbuttons, solenoids, encoders and lockout/tagout - First shift, 6 am - 2:30 pm M-F
