As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our team and help lead commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout our service area. Role Description The Journeyman/Woman Electrician is a full-time position responsible for leading electrical installations, service work, and project execution in commercial and industrial environments. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems while coordinating field activities, directing crews, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable electrical codes. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications; installing conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and electrical equipment; troubleshooting electrical systems; performing service work; coordinating with customers, project managers, and other trades; maintaining jobsite safety; and mentoring apprentices and less-experienced electricians. Qualifications Required Qualifications OSHA 10 Certification required Valid driver's license Minimum of 3 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical field experience Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment Foreman experience or demonstrated ability to lead crews and direct field operations Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift, climb, bend, stand, and work in a variety of jobsite conditions Preferred Qualifications Commercial and industrial electrical experience Service and troubleshooting experience Experience with motor controls and low-voltage systems Experience installing electrical panels, transformers, generators, and distribution equipment Experience mentoring apprentices Benefits Competitive hourly wage: $30.00-$38.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and leadership experience Opportunities for overtime Health Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid Time Off Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match Company-provided tools or tool allowance, as applicable Opportunities for advancement and continued training
