Essential Responsibilities:
Consult with the Tech Department Manager to prioritize daily workflow Coordinate with other department leads during builds Install low-voltage and LED lighting of all types Ensure the highest quality standards are safely and efficiently maintained to fulfill project requirements and deadlines Maintain strict adherence to all electrical safety measures Assist the Tech Department Manager in maintaining inventory and hardware for all low-voltage considerations Assist within the department on high voltage, mechanical, and automation requests
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain discipline during all procedures in accordance with safety, quality, engineering, human resources, and finance department guidelines Maintain close and clear communication with the Tech Department Manager and other department managers and leads Continued education and training in all aspects within the province of the department Support overall business objectives as set by management and leadership Support overall business goals, as set by the company Participate and contribute to the company culture objectives
Qualifications:
Required:
Proficient at interpreting technical drawings to design custom lighting systems Proficient in DMX lighting hardware and protocols Must have working knowledge of electronic components and circuitry Must be able to provide written reports and feedback Must be flexible and adaptable to constant variability, considering build and install timelines Must be able to accommodate overnight and/or out-of-town installations Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred:
Experience with Arduino or similar program/integration Carpentry skills and toolkit
Education & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience with various types of low-voltage lighting and LEDs Experience with all relevant electrical tools and equipment
Pay:
$37.00 - $41.00 per hour
