In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovation, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver top-quality electrical solutions. Duties Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and systems in commercial and residential environments. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and circuit testers. Perform high-voltage wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and local electrical codes. Conduct routine maintenance on industrial electrical systems to prevent outages and ensure operational safety. Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to install electrical systems per project specifications. Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures while working on live circuits or high-voltage systems to prevent accidents or injuries. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on commercial and residential electrical systems. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring, low voltage systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Proficiency in using hand tools such as wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems across various environments including construction sites and renovation projects. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems including motor controls, transformers, switchgear, and control panels. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures related to high-voltage work and adherence to OSHA standards. Construction site experience with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately under tight deadlines.
