Job Description
- Job Title: Electrical Foreman Assistant
- Job Description
- This role supports multiple construction sites across New York City by assisting foreman in electrical new construction and renovation projects. You will perform a mix of general labor, note-taking, and electrical tasks, including bending conduit, pulling wire, running cable, and reading blueprints to support early-stage and ongoing project activities.
- Responsibilities
- + Support foremen to multiple construction sites across New York City for electrical new construction and renovation projects.
+ Perform general labor tasks on jobsites in early stages, including site preparation, material handling, and assisting trades as needed.
+ Take notes based on information foreman is receiving, essentially being tied to them
+ Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to understand layouts, routing, and installation requirements.
+ Assist electricians and other team members with electrical installations and related tasks as directed.
+ Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete daily assignments.
+ Follow all safety protocols on site, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA 30 and SST requirements.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the workday.
+ Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure work progresses on schedule.
- Essential Skills
- + Proficiency in pulling wire and running electrical cables.
+ Ability to bend and install conduit in various configurations.
+ Capability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
+ Skilled in using basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
+ Current OSHA 30 certification.
+ Current SST (Site Safety Training) certification.
+ Ability to consistently use and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

- Work Environment
- You will work on multiple jobsites across New York City, primarily focused on new construction and renovation projects.
The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with work performed on active construction sites. The environment is hands-on and field-based, requiring regular use of basic hand and power tools, PPE, and adherence to OSHA 30 and SST safety standards. You will operate in a fast-paced setting with other trades and contractors, often on partially completed structures in various stages of construction.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $20.
00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
