Job Description
Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking an Electrician to support commercial real estate facilities. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, panels, lighting, and controls across a diverse portfolio of properties. You'll diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and JLL safety and sustainability standards. Collaborating with facility managers and project teams, you'll support tenant improvements and capital projects while documenting work in asset systems. JLL offers growth, training, and exposure to high-profile, technology-enabled, sustainable buildings. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across commercial real estate facilities Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring timely, safe, and code-compliant resolutions Inspect panels, wiring, and controls; perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute electrical work Collaborate with facility managers, engineers, and vendors to support building operations and projects Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and JLL safety, quality, and sustainability standards Document work performed, maintain accurate service records, and update asset management systems Support small tenant improvements, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades as assigned Required Skills Commercial electrical installation Electrical maintenance and repair Troubleshooting and diagnostics Reading blueprints and schematics Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes Preventive maintenance planning Use of electrical testing equipment Lighting and controls systems CMMS/maintenance work order systems Safety and lockout/tagout procedures
