Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. 2. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. 3. Troubleshoot electrical problems, malfunctions, and breakdowns in machinery and equipment. 4. Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and machinery to minimize downtime. 5. Collaborate with other team members to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions. 6. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations, including wearing protective equipment and maintaining a clean work area. 7. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to perform installation and repairs. 8. Utilize PLC programming for automation and control of machinery. 9. Provide training and guidance to junior electricians and other maintenance staff. 10. Respond to emergencies promptly and resolve issues to minimize production downtime.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment. 2. Proven experience with industrial, mechanic, maintenance, diesel, automotive, PLC, and electrician skills. 3. Valid electrician license or certification. 4. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures. 5. Proficient in the use of electrical diagnostic tools and equipment. 6. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems. 7. Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations. 8. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings. 9. Proficient in PLC programming. 10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 11. Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed. 12. Willingness to work overtime and on-call as required. 13. High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in industrial electrical systems will be a plus.
