Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair, with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. This position also has advancement possibilities for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and troubleshoot malfunctions Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations Inspect electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, and switches Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely project completion Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs Train and mentor apprentices or junior electricians when required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various positions (kneeling, crouching, etc.) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Excellent communication and customer service skills OSHA certification preferred
Pay:
$25.00 - $37.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
