Manufacturing & Automation Salary:
$75,000 per year We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Industrial Electrician to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for a skilled electrician who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working with automation systems, and helping keep a fast-paced manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently. The Industrial Electrician will play a key role in the installation, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of production equipment , with a strong focus on industrial electrical systems, PLCs, automation, motors, controls, and manufacturing machinery. What You'll Do Installation & Equipment Startup Support the setup and installation of manufacturing machinery and automation equipment Install, inspect, adjust, repair, dismantle, and overhaul production and facility equipment Assist with equipment startup, commissioning, and production line modifications Install and maintain electrical components and controls associated with industrial equipment Electrical Troubleshooting Diagnose electrical and control system failures to minimize production downtime Troubleshoot PLCs, motors, generators, automation equipment, and electrical controls Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain relay systems and electronic drive systems Analyze electrical problems, determine root causes, and make effective repairs Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production safely and efficiently Preventive Maintenance Perform preventive maintenance and routine electrical inspections Test voltage, resistance, and other electrical measurements Identify and correct potential equipment problems before they result in downtime Maintain accurate equipment and maintenance records Projects & Improvements Provide electrical expertise and help lead electrical safety on installation and improvement projects Read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications Support equipment upgrades, automation projects, and manufacturing improvements Help improve equipment reliability, safety, and overall production efficiency Qualifications 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience Journeyman Electrician license required Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with PLCs and industrial automation systems Experience troubleshooting motors, electrical controls, relays, and electronic drive systems Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, drawings, and specifications Ability to make informed decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision Strong commitment to safety and quality Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet operational deadlines Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Lift truck/forklift operating experience required Ability to work varying shifts as required Compensation $75,000 per year Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing and warehouse environment supporting a 24-hour, 7-day operation . Flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required based on production and business needs.
