Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems including electrical equipment, plumbing, HVAC units, and facilities equipment to ensure optimal operation. Repair and troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, electrical tools, and equipment such as ohmmeters. Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including pipe repairs, fixture replacements, and leak detection. Maintain HVAC systems through troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure climate control efficiency. Execute carpentry tasks such as repairs to interior structures, doors, windows, and drywall; perform painting tasks including residential painting and maintenance painting. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for various repair activities while adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical systems to facilitate accurate repairs. Lead or assist with maintenance projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding tasks, or other specialized mechanical work. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from building occupants. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures. Support leadership in training or mentoring less experienced team members when needed. Requirements Proven experience in building maintenance with a comprehensive understanding of facilities maintenance operations. Proficiency in electrical work including repair of electrical equipment and understanding schematics. Mechanical knowledge covering HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, carpentry, and general facilities equipment upkeep. Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to handle various metal repair tasks. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems. Ability to operate hand tools effectively along with specialized electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Strong knowledge of maintenance painting techniques for both interior and residential applications. Experience working with schematics for electrical wiring or mechanical systems. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration across teams. Leadership qualities with the ability to guide or mentor team members on technical tasks when required. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general facility maintenance.
