Description:
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following: Manage telecommunications, heat, electricity, plumbing etc. and refurbishments and ensure they are well maintained; Ensure facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards; Oversee building projects, renovations or refurbishments; Responsible for handling facility emergencies as they arise; Manage the maintenance of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards; Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations; Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs; Supervise all facilities staff and external contractors performing equipment & facilities maintenance; Control activities such as parking, waste disposal, building security etc.; Handle service contracts including company leased and owned vehicles; Keep financial and non-financial records.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance facility management; Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing; Analytical and problem-solving skills; Decision-making; Teamworking; Attention to detail but also the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture; Commercial awareness; Customer Service; Organization, time management, prioritizing, and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload; A good knowledge of IT Packages; Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
