Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, troubleshooting, and repair of production and packaging machines. 2. Perform highly diversified duties to relocate, install and maintain production machines, and the shop facility's equipment. 3. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance and upgrades of production equipment. 4. Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service and work directly with machine manufacturer when needed. 5. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. 6. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities. 7. Use a variety of computers and programs, hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. 8. Must be able to read blueprints and schematics, use of micrometers, measuring tapes and other measuring equipment. 9. Troubleshoot and replace PLC components, including but not limited to DeviceNet, HMI applications, RS Logix controls, Panelview and Allen Bradley components. 10. Troubleshoot and repair conveyor and components. 11. Troubleshoot and repair Vision system. 12. Work with 110/220/440V safely. 13. Troubleshoot and repair basic temperature controls. 14. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 15. Comply with Orr's safety, environmental and quality policy as documented by the Orr Mission Statement. 16. Comply with the requirements of Orr's Integrated Management System (Refer to the Quality Manual) 17. Comply with OSHA safety and health rules. 18. Other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$20.08 - $27.60 per hour
