Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those with dementia or other health challenges. Your responsibilities will include delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and fostering a nurturing environment for our clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide patient observation to monitor health conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties and meal prep Support clients with mobility and lifting as necessary to ensure comfort and safety (no deadlifting over 25lbs) Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare providers. Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or those in hospice care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times. Transportation support at times Qualifications Strong skills in patient observation and the ability to recognize changes in health status. Have compassion and care Ability to learn the caregiving role Ability to follow care plans accurately while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing needs. Must be compassionate, patient, and able to lift clients safely when required. Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
