May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems. Manage and direct the technical support necessary to install new electrical designs and distribution systems and maintains as-built drawings and material systems on assigned Cherokee Nation Entertainment properties. Provides preventive maintenance of electrical panels, electrical devices, switchgear, electrical systems, etc. Ensure all wiring and breakers follow industry standards. Provides code compliant electrical installation services as needed. Oversees installations and conduct work with new installations; assist with HVAC electrical problems, as needed. Review sand interprets circuit diagrams, drawings, and electrical maintenance and repair manuals. Repairs/replaces and troubleshoots electrical devices. Inspects premises for malfunctioning or unsafe items. Implements applicable safety program(s) and safety manual(s), including proper use of hand and power tools. Conducts emergency services and repairs on electrical/power systems. Provides review of electrical work installed by others, as needed. Ensures inventory is maintained including replacement lamps and bulbs. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
Lead and/or guide the work of other employees, including electrical apprentices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a High School Diploma and 5-7 years of facilities electrical maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a current, unlimited Oklahoma Journeyman Electrical License. Must be able to obtain certification to operate articulating booms and scissor lifts. Working knowledge of and issue mitigation of automatic transfer switches, rotary and static UPS systems, generators > 1000kva, primary power systems in excess of 13,000kva, transformers > 1000kva, and other medium voltage and low voltage components. Demonstrated ability articulating booms and scissor lifts. Demonstrated ability with 3-phase power systems. Working knowledge of HVAC systems and power tools. Effective written, communication, presentation, technical, analytical and computer skills including working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products. Ability to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will be performed in a variety of settings, including, climate-controlled office settings and/or outdoors in all types of weather. Work includes lifting and adjusting heavy objects and potential contact with sharp, hot, and/or very cold supplies and equipment. Work may require scaling ladders and operating lifts. Employee will be required to wear proper personal protective equipment and maintain safety procedures at all times. Employee may be called into work outside of normal work hours or work long hours for emergency maintenance and repair situations. NOTE, this job is a safety sensitive position subject to drug testing requirements. A positive drug test will result in a job offer being rescinded or, for active employees, termination, even if they test positive for marijuana and have a valid medical marijuana license.
