U.S. Lime Company-St. Clair is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team at our Marble City, OK facility. This position will be responsible to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical equipment in a heavy industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and calibrate plant instrumentation and electrical equipment Troubleshoot, repair, and functionally evaluate AC Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Troubleshoot and perform minor programming changes to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Support and maintain control system hardware, software, and basic network infrastructure Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial control loops and devices related to pressure, flow, level, and temperature Read, interpret, draw, and utilize electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, instruction manuals, and one‑line electrical diagrams Troubleshoot power, control, and motor circuits in compliance with applicable electrical codes Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to complete projects safely and within established timelines Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and materials used Follow all company safety policies and comply with MSHA regulations, site‑specific safety rules, and training requirements
Working Conditions:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders during the workday Ability to crouch, kneel, bend, reach, and work in confined spaces Ability to work at heights and from elevated platforms when necessary Manual dexterity to work with hand tools, test equipment, and small components Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to dust, noise, vibration, varying temperatures, and outdoor conditions Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, respirators, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
Skills and Qualifications:
Completed an approved electrical apprenticeship or possess a current Journeyman Electrician license Minimum 4 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience Experience troubleshooting AC/DC circuits, motors, motor controls, and industrial electrical equipment Working knowledge of PLCs and industrial control systems Working knowledge of electrical/electronic design fundamentals and the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to read and understand electrical prints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and one-line drawings Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork skills
Schedule:
8+ hour shifts Monday through Friday Overtime including weekends when needed
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour
