In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction and renovations to ongoing maintenance, utilizing your technical proficiency and problem-solving skills to keep operations running smoothly. Duties Install, inspect, test, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage systems. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and improve efficiency during construction or renovation projects. Work on high-voltage electrical wiring projects while adhering to safety protocols for hazardous environments. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical wiring tasks efficiently and safely. Read electrical schematics and blueprints accurately to guide installation or repair activities on commercial or industrial electrical systems. Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to integrate electrical components seamlessly into overall project plans. Conduct detailed diagnostics of electrical systems to identify faults quickly and implement effective solutions for ongoing operational reliability. Skills Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures related to high-voltage and low-voltage wiring. Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, schematics diagrams, and blueprints for accurate installation and troubleshooting. Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and PLC programming devices. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently within construction sites or ongoing operations. Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring projects in industrial settings or large-scale commercial environments.
