An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Responsibilities:
Bend and install electrical conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid as required). Pull, route, and secure electrical wiring. Terminate electrical devices, panels, switches, receptacles, and lighting fixtures. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings. Troubleshoot and install electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards. Maintain a safe and organized work area while following OSHA safety requirements. Must provide your own electrical hand tools. Requirements Complete tasks as assigned by the site supervisor Perform all tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervision Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportation Must pass drug screen and all required background checks.
