ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
a. Layout, dismantle, install, maintain, repair, and test electrical devices, fixtures, control equipment, meters, instruments, and wiring throughout the facility, and experience with PLCs. b. Make new installations of electrical/electronic equipment throughout the plant. c. Read, interpret, develop, and update blueprints, charts, and sketches. d. Adjust, calibrate, troubleshoot, analyze, and repair electrical/electronic equipment as required, including voltage equipment requiring precision. e. Adjust and repair frequency drive motor controllers. f. Operate assigned mobile equipment during repairs and to transport and install material and equipment. g. Train apprentices and trainees in the performance of their jobs. h. Requisition, gather, and transport material and equipment to and from work areas. i. Keep equipment and working area in safe, clean, and orderly condition. j. Perform all the above functions and other duties in a craftsman-like manner. k. Perform other related duties as required. l. Assist other crafts when necessary. m. Assist engineers in the installation of new equipment for new projects. n. Master electrical license preferred. 2. a.
